Dr. Alexander Lukeneder (Geology & Palaeontology) presents his guidebook for hikes in Austria for the entire family and introduces his “fossilfinder” citizen-science project.
 
 
DECK 50 – a new science communication venue
 
Currently under construction, the communication platform DECK 50 is designed to offer an open space for innovation and experimentation. Visitors will be invited to engage in social discourse through hands-on activities and new forms of communication. DECK 50 has the remit of making the links between research and society tangible and visible for various age groups. DECK 50 will offer a venue for research, experiments, exchanges with experts, interactive displays and sustainable participation processes.
