A series of five large formate performance
photographs focus on the intense relationship between human being and environment. A woman strolls through a vast landscape
of loess that represents the valuable chronological archive of geologists, archeologists, and ecologists. This work
highlights a mode of being Deborah Bird Rose would call ecological humanity.
Elisabeth von Samsonow is an artist and professor at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. Her work is shown in international context; furthermore she works as a curator and writer. She is scientific director of the research project THE DISSIDENT GODDESSES‘ NETWORK.
