Our library holds:

• About 280 international and national journals running (e.g.Auk, Condor, Ibis, Journal Avian Biology, Journal Field Ornithology, Journal of Ornithology, Ardea, Bird Study, ....)
• Faunal Works, Checklists, Field-Guides (all world-wide), Fine and Illustrated Books, Handbooks (e.g. Birds of the World, Birds of Africa, Handbuch der Vögel Mitteleuropas), Species-Monographs, Ornithological Monographs focussing main subject areas like Conservation, Identification, Ethology, Ecology, Taxonomy, Bird Migration etc. (appr. 5.000 volumes)
• Historic journals (25 titles) and books (appr. 750 titles before 1900)
• Reprints (appr. 10.000)
